New Chief Technology Officer for Cleankeys Inc.

Steve Hole is the new CTO at Cleankeys.

Steve has a long history of activity with the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), Internet Architecture Board (IAB) and Internet Research Task Force (IRTF).  He has contributed to the development of many Internet communications protocol standards and is currently a member of the Application and Security Area Directorates in the IETF.   He is a recognized expert in Security protocols.   Most recently, Steve was CTO at Planet Correspondence Technologies and ACI Worldwide, companies providing financial transaction software to banks. Steve heads an engineering team tasked with moving Cleankey’s already market leading technology to the next level.

New Security Tethers for Wireless Keyboard

Concern about wireless keyboards disappearing from public areas prompted Cleankeys to search out a solution in the form of a security tether.  A contact point adheres to the bottom of the keyboard, connected by the cable to a second contact point securely fixed at the other end.

Firmware Update Released
August 2010

A firmware upgrade for the Cleankeys Wireless Keyboard is now available.  This is an important firmware update that improves the user experience.  Added features include:

• Touchpad scrolling, which uses your finger to scroll in the same manner as the wheel on a mechanical mouse;
• Touchpad acceleration, which lengthens the movement of the cursor with the speed of your finger on the touchpad;
• Improved sensitivity adjustment to suit the wide range of users.
